Senior Java Engineer

Join a multidisciplinary team of senior engineers working on large-scale distributed systems within a Consumer & Merchant domain. You will have high autonomy to drive architectural decisions and deliver end-to-end solutions in an AI-first development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Hexagonal Architecture principles.
• Build and maintain event-driven integrations using Kafka, Avro, and the Transactional Outbox pattern.
• Drive topic analysis and requirement discovery from business needs to production.
• Write comprehensive automated tests including unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code as a primary productivity tool.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot MVC.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture and microservices patterns.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab CI pipelines.
• Mandatory proficiency with AI coding tools and agentic development workflows.
• Solid understanding of OAuth2/JWT-based security.
