Senior Java Developer (AI-Native)

5Blue Software is an international engineering company seeking a Senior Java Developer to join an AI-native team. You will work on the Edgewise platform, contributing to cloud-edge software and network optimization solutions for tier-1 cellular operators.

Key responsibilities

• Design system and service architecture for high-performance, scalable, and reliable software.
• Translate complex and ambiguous requirements into robust, scalable technical designs.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex features from design through to production.
• Leverage modern AI coding agents and spec-driven development to accelerate high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor peers, and drive innovation across the engineering team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development with Java.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex algorithms and large-scale data applications.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools into the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
