As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading provider of banking systems specializing in omnichannel solutions for internet, mobile, and branch backoffice systems. You will help build robust, scalable REST API services that drive seamless banking experiences, fostering innovation in financial technology and enhancing customer engagement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance REST API services tailored for banking omnichannel platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable backend solutions using Java.
• Ensure the integration of backend systems with databases like MongoDB and message brokers such as Kafka.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development and banking solutions.
• Participate in long-term technical planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development within the banking or financial services industry.
• Advanced knowledge of Java technologies and frameworks.
• Proven experience working with MongoDB databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Good command of Polish.
• Communicative proficiency in English.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in Java or related technologies.
• Experience with REST API security standards and best practices.
