Senior Java Back-end developer (Remote, PL)

Worldline is a global leader in payments technology, helping businesses grow through secure and innovative solutions. We are looking for a Senior Java Back-end Developer to design and lead the development of cloud-based services in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of new features and services while setting the technical direction.
• Own architecture and design decisions, including service boundaries, APIs, and data models.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and asynchronous, event-driven integrations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and observability.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers while upholding high coding and security standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Java development experience with modern Java LTS versions.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and the Spring ecosystem.
• Solid experience with SQL, relational databases like PostgreSQL, and schema migration tools.
• Proven ability to design RESTful APIs and implement event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and automated testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Proficiency in English and experience with AI-assisted development tools.
