Senior Java Architect

Hyphen Solutions is looking for a Senior Java Architect to lead the design, development, and modernization of scalable enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms. You will provide technical leadership across architecture and software development while contributing hands-on code to drive engineering standards and high-performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise Java 21+ architectures and contribute directly to coding.
• Lead the development of scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications.
• Define and enforce architecture and coding standards while documenting system interactions.
• Build microservices, distributed systems, and design robust API integration patterns.
• Mentor engineers through hands-on guidance and drive CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Java development experience, including significant architectural responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and JDBC-based data access.
• Strong experience with MySQL/Aurora SQL, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with microservices, distributed systems, and REST API integrations.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
