Senior IT Project Manager (ServiceNow), side project

Awareson is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to oversee a ServiceNow implementation project. This is a unique, fully remote side-project opportunity designed for a self-driven professional who can manage project milestones independently alongside their current commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, the external vendor, and the internal IT team.
• Steer the project according to the vendor roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Review and accept delivered functionality while overseeing testing, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Monitor project scope, budget, and timeline, providing clear progress reports and risk escalations to senior management.
• Translate complex technical information from the vendor into actionable business language.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically in projects involving external vendors.
• Proven expertise with the ServiceNow platform, enabling you to effectively review and validate vendor deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to lead full-lifecycle implementations from planning through to successful go-live.
• Fluent English skills for daily collaboration with international stakeholders.
• High level of independence, proactivity, and the ability to manage your own schedule effectively.
