Senior IT Developer

emagine Polska is looking for a Senior IT Developer to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining critical Enterprise Services within the Enterprise Digital Document Management domain. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features and system integrations while maintaining rigorous engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend solutions using Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, gRPC, and Kafka within an event-driven microservices architecture.
• Drive the delivery of ongoing projects and maintenance sprints while adhering to established coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and promote continuous improvement of software quality through SOLID principles and high test coverage.
• Coordinate effectively with QA teams during test cycles and support production releases and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and infrastructure teams to refine frameworks, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, along with experience in event streaming using Confluent Kafka and K streams.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and Argo CD.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, as well as CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• University degree in computer science or equivalent and business fluency in English for international collaboration.
