Senior iOS Engineer, Places

Raya is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the Places Client team and help shape the future of our member-facing mobile experiences. You will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and scaling our iOS application, ensuring that our users enjoy a seamless and high-quality interface across all core features.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own core member-facing features from initial concept through to production deployment.
• Define architectural patterns and solve complex client-side lifecycle and state management challenges.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API design, data integrity, and efficient client-server state synchronization.
• Work alongside product, design, and data science teams to scope, experiment with, and launch new features.
• Maintain high standards for performance, testing, and technical debt management within a large codebase.
• Ensure production health through proactive monitoring, crash triage, and rigorous release quality control.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience with deep proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and MVVM.
• Extensive experience with RxSwift or similar reactive programming frameworks.
• Proven track record of shipping high-scale consumer mobile applications with a focus on architecture and performance.
• Strong product sense and the ability to partner effectively with design and data teams.
• Experience leading projects from concept to launch while balancing speed and quality.
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools to enhance development workflows and team productivity.
