Senior Go Engineer (Core Banking)

Colibrix is a fast-growing fintech company building advanced, AI-powered payment technologies for PSPs, EMIs, and neobanks. We are looking for a Senior Go Engineer to join our team and contribute to our core payment gateway product, helping us shape the future of the digital economy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable microservices using Go.
• Build reliable transactional systems incorporating idempotency, event deduplication, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate on the architecture of distributed systems and API design using REST and gRPC.
• Operate production services with a focus on observability, incident investigation, and safe deployments.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions within the fintech domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Go development experience, with at least 3 years in fintech, banking, or transaction-critical systems.
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills, including deep knowledge of transactions, locking, and indexing.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers like NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating with payment processors, AML/KYC platforms, or banking systems.
