CAI is a leading professional services firm with a global presence, dedicated to delivering operational readiness and high-stakes solutions for regulated industries. We are currently seeking a Senior Global Director of Tax and Audit to lead our international tax strategy and audit governance as we continue to scale our operations across more than 20 countries.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global tax strategy, covering corporate income tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST, and intercompany arrangements.
- Manage global tax advisors and external audit partners to ensure technical quality, timely filings, and cost-effective support across all jurisdictions.
- Oversee the global audit governance model, including annual consolidated financial statement audits and local statutory audit requirements.
- Lead tax workstreams for acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and ensuring Day 1 compliance readiness.
- Coordinate U.S. benefit plan audits and maintain a robust global compliance calendar for all tax and statutory reporting obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA, JD, LLM, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in multinational corporate tax, transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and external audit management.
- Proven ability to build scalable governance functions and manage complex tax and audit risks in a high-growth environment.
- Strong expertise in acquisition integration, project-based business models, and multi-country regulatory compliance.
