Senior General QA (Python)

BCD Travel is seeking a highly skilled Senior General QA Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure the quality and reliability of our complex web and mobile travel applications. You will play a pivotal role in defining test strategies and maintaining high software standards for our global B2B booking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify high-risk scenarios and ensure robust software performance.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to plan new features and create detailed test documentation.
• Develop and maintain automated tests at the integration and end-to-end levels using Python-based frameworks.
• Oversee test coverage and work closely with developers to integrate unit and component tests effectively.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in web application testing, including UI/API and functional testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Proficiency in writing clear bug reports, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of modern software engineering processes, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent English communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
