Senior Fullstack Mobile Engineer

Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform dedicated to making donations fast, seamless, and accessible for nonprofits worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Mobile Engineer to join our distributed team and help build innovative mobile solutions that empower organizations to accept donations in the physical world.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android, ensuring high performance and security.
• Own mobile initiatives end-to-end, from requirements analysis and implementation to store release and production support.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex mobile issues, diagnosing root causes across native layers and networking.
• Contribute to the backend and web frontend components required to deliver features, ensuring a cohesive product experience.
• Review code and designs to maintain high engineering standards and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on React Native.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and error handling.
• Experience with mobile OS fundamentals, native platform tooling, and mobile security practices.
• Ability to work across the full stack, including Node.js backend services and relational or document databases.
• Proven track record of owning mobile release processes, including app signing and staged rollouts.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration within a distributed team.
