Senior Fullstack Engineer

WearLinq is a groundbreaking healthcare startup emerging from Stanford University, dedicated to democratizing healthcare through an integrated ecosystem of hardware, software, and services. We are currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team and help build our next-generation Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) ECG diagnostics portal.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance backend microservices and RESTful interfaces.
• Integrate data from AI/ML classification algorithms into our diagnostic platform.
• Architect robust data models and maintain API functionality.
• Automate data flows while ensuring strict HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance.
• Manage code repositories and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and medical professionals, to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong backend focus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js/React.
• Strong experience with AWS serverless architecture, distributed computing, and big data.
• Expertise in managing infrastructure, databases, and DevOps practices with a focus on scalability and security.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
