Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js + React)

First Connect Insurance Services is a digital marketplace transforming how independent insurance agents access top US carriers. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team and help us build consumer-grade software that powers critical platform features and the entire agency commission cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time data integrations and commission systems with a primary focus on backend logic.
• Build and manage data pipelines across backend and frontend systems to ensure data consistency and reliability.
• Contribute to incentive programs and new business initiatives by translating agent and carrier needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure high engineering quality through clean, maintainable code and a strong focus on automated testing.
• Collaborate in a dynamic environment, using AI tools to enhance development workflows and product discovery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience as a fullstack developer with a strong backend focus.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
• Startup mindset characterized by high ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Fluency in English (C1) and Polish (C1).
