Senior Fullstack Engineer (FastAPI, React)

comm1t is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join an innovative project building an AI-native platform for the legal industry. You will be responsible for developing agentic AI workflows that enable legal teams to automate complex tasks such as document review, drafting, analysis, and semantic search within a highly scalable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust backend systems using Python, FastAPI, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build intuitive and performant user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to influence the direction and technical strategy of the platform.
• Implement end-to-end AI-driven workflows that handle large volumes of complex legal documentation.
• Maintain high code quality standards while actively contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in building scalable backend systems with Python and FastAPI.
• Extensive experience in frontend development using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Proven hands-on experience utilizing AI tooling such as Claude Code or Cursor in daily development.
• Excellent English communication skills at a C1 level or higher.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international startup environment.
