Senior Fullstack / Backend Developer (Python)

Avenga is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack / Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of robust Python-based applications. You will play a key role in designing scalable solutions and ensuring high-quality code standards across our technical stack.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and integrate REST APIs to support complex system functionalities.
• Manage database interactions and data modeling using SQLAlchemy and Pydantic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to frontend development tasks using Angular when required.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python backend development.
• Advanced knowledge of FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic frameworks.
• Proven experience in REST API development and system integration.
• Solid understanding of database management and data architecture.
• Practical experience working with PostgreSQL and Snowflake environments.
