Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, Discover

Circle is the leading all-in-one platform for online communities, enabling creators and businesses to host courses, events, and memberships. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Discover team and help evolve our marketplace for digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build polished, high-converting purchasing experiences that help members discover digital content and businesses scale their offerings.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to validate changes that boost user acquisition, retention, and conversion behavior.
• Implement and improve features in the Discover Next.js frontend application alongside API endpoints in our Rails backend.
• Work on data pipelines and services driving search and recommendation features.
• Collaborate closely with designers and leadership to create a world-class, performant user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer on complex web applications at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind, Ruby on Rails, and MySQL/Postgresql.
• A desire to work in an environment that values speed of iteration, individual autonomy, and personal accountability.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to thrive in a fully distributed remote team.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and picking up new technologies as project requirements evolve.
