Senior Full Stack PHP Developer, Product Catalogue and Quoting

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to lead the architecture and development of a new product catalogue and quoting platform from the ground up. In this hands-on role, you will build scalable systems capable of ingesting, processing, and maintaining millions of product records while contributing to a modern frontend.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and development of the product catalogue and quoting platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Design robust data models for products, variants, specifications, pricing, and configurable options.
• Develop and maintain the PHP 8 and Symfony backend, including REST APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
• Build reliable web crawling and scraping systems to gather product specifications and relevant data.
• Implement asynchronous processing workflows and background jobs using Symfony Messenger and Redis.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with expert-level proficiency in PHP 8 and Symfony.
• Proven experience building or maintaining product information management (PIM) systems or comparable data solutions.
• Strong data modeling skills and extensive experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and Doctrine.
• Practical experience with asynchronous processing, message queues, and web crawling systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative approach to technical problem-solving.
