Senior Full-Stack Engineer (WordPress)

Curotec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and focus on building advanced websites using the WordPress framework. We are looking for a dedicated professional with extensive experience in agency production environments who can collaborate effectively within a remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins while ensuring high performance and security.
• Integrate third-party services via REST APIs and webhooks, including payment gateways and shipping platforms.
• Build complex e-commerce solutions using the WooCommerce framework.
• Collaborate with designers to implement mobile-first layouts from Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Photoshop files.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free code.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of WordPress Core, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience with custom plugin development and a portfolio featuring published plugins on Git.
• Strong background in managing large-scale, complex enterprise-level websites.
• Proficiency in modern page builders like Gutenberg, Elementor, or WP Bakery.
• Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git and headless WordPress architecture.
