Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Trading Platform)

Railsware is building a sophisticated Trading Terminal designed for prop firms and traders, combining order flow visualization, replay, audit, and execution in one comprehensive system. We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer who is also an active trader to join our small, founding team and help shape the future of our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Building real-time market data pipelines, including Level 2 data and order book reconstruction.
• Developing advanced order flow visualizations such as footprints, heatmaps, DOM, profiles, and CVD.
• Improving the trading interface to ensure seamless interaction between charts, tape, and order panels.
• Preparing live data features for strategic partnerships with prop firms.
• Integrating the platform with various market data providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, specifically React 18+ and TypeScript.
• Experience with backend systems, including low-latency architectures.
• Active trading experience in futures or crypto, such as day trading or scalping.
• Ability to produce product specifications and make informed UX decisions.
• Experience with real-time market data, WebSocket streaming, and order book depth.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
