Senior Full Stack Developer - B2B platform (Laravel + Nuxt/Vue)

ScholarshipOwl is the largest scholarship marketplace in the US, leveraging AI to connect millions of students with funding opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to architect high-performance web applications and accelerate our development velocity across our B2B platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and ship end-to-end B2B features using Laravel, Doctrine ORM, and Nuxt 3/4.
• Develop high-performance embedded widget systems, server engine logic, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Design robust relational database schemas, RESTful API contracts, and Redis caching layers.
• Integrate AI coding tools like Cursor and Gemini to automate testing and build intelligent features.
• Establish comprehensive automated test coverage using PHPUnit, Playwright, and Vitest.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional full-stack experience, including at least 1 year using AI coding assistants.
• Strong expertise in PHP 8+, Laravel, and modern Vue 3/Nuxt 3/4 with TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of MySQL, relational database modeling, and ORM usage.
• Proficiency in RESTful/JSON:API standards and Redis performance caching.
• Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to work with high autonomy.
