Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Okendo is a leading customer marketing platform trusted by over 16,000 Shopify brands to build stronger connections with their consumers. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us scale our unified platform, which includes reviews, loyalty, referrals, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship frontend features across Vue-based embeddable widgets, Angular-based merchant admin tools, and React-based Shopify integrations.
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions in close collaboration with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable TypeScript code while maintaining high technical standards.
• Break down complex, ambiguous problems into well-scoped tasks and deliver them effectively.
• Participate in system design discussions and mentor other engineers to raise the technical bar across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production frontend applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one modern component framework (Vue, Angular, or React) and the ability to adapt to others.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• A proven track record of shipping high-quality, tested code in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a fully distributed, global team.
