Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Moniepoint is a leading financial platform dedicated to providing seamless payment, banking, and business management tools to millions of users. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our remote team and help build high-performing, scalable, and secure web applications that redefine the financial industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture, coding standards, and reusable component systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, including Core Web Vitals and runtime efficiency.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• At least seven years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on production-grade frontend applications.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, including hooks and advanced state management.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, web accessibility, and semantic HTML.
• Experience with frontend testing practices and integrating applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, solve complex problems, and work effectively in an agile environment.
