Senior Frontend Engineer

Xsolla is a global commerce company providing robust tools and services to help developers fund, distribute, market, and monetize their video games. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our product engineering team and help build reliable, scalable, and secure systems that serve millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and create technical design documentation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with comprehensive coverage.
• Optimize database schemas and queries to ensure reliability under heavy load.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend, QA, and DevOps to deliver features end-to-end.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go, including idiomatic code and concurrency patterns.
• Solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems trade-offs.
• Familiarity with message brokers, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
