Senior Envoy Operations & Platform Support Engineer

Role Overview

Following the implementation of Envoy, our client requires an experienced consultant to provide operational support, maintenance, platform optimization, and continuity services comparable to commercial enterprise support offerings.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Envoy platform in production.

• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.

• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.

• Manage upgrades, security patches, and configuration changes.

• Support onboarding of new services and APIs.

• Optimize Envoy performance and scalability.

• Maintain observability dashboards and alerting.

• Participate in incident response and problem management.

• Produce operational documentation and runbooks.

• Provide advisory services regarding best practices and future platform improvements.

Key Requirements

• Proven production operations experience with Envoy.

• Strong Kubernetes administration experience.

• Experience with:

  • High Availability platforms

  • Kubernetes networking

  • Ingress/Gateway solutions

  • TLS and certificate management

  • Prometheus, Grafana, Loki

  • OpenTelemetry

  • GitOps workflows

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience providing enterprise platform support.

• Experience with SRE practices.

• Experience with service mesh technologies.

• Experience defining SLAs, SLOs, and operational procedures.

Start Date: Mid-August 2026

Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with extension option

Workload: Full-time

Location: Onsite Copenhagen area (Denmark) or remote from antoher EU country
