About our Team:

Our team supports clients in the “Group Functions” area, including Group Risk Management, Group Legal & Compliance and Group Procurement. We are the primary point of contact for IT-related questions in these areas and are technically responsible for integrating business applications and managing the necessary interfaces. We also act as the link between the business units and external vendors.

We're looking for a senior integration engineer to own critical platform integrations across our actuarial, finance, risk and compliance functions a portfolio with high regulatory and reputational stakes.

Role Purpose:

You'll design, build, and maintain integrations connecting actuarial models, financial reporting systems, GRC platforms, and procurement tools with their upstream sources and downstream consumers. A key focus is automating and audit-proofing regulatory reporting workflows and supporting legacy application migrations.

Several of the platforms in this portfolio have limited documentation or in-house expertise to draw on. Part of the role is building that expertise from the ground up through vendor engagement, business stakeholder conversations and hands-on system exploration and turning it into lasting, accessible documentation for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and own the integration architecture for actuarial, pricing, and risk data flows, including failure handling, data lineage, and reconciliation across systems

  • Engineer regulatory reporting automation, making explicit design tradeoffs between integration patterns

  • Integrate GRC, compliance and finance systems, acting as technical interface for Group Actuarial, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance

  • Own end-to-end testing and quality assurance for regulated data flows

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation

  • Independently build and document platform-specific expertise for systems including direct engagement with vendors and business stakeholders

  • Support legacy application migrations

  • Operate within agile delivery: sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimates and feasibility

Your Skills:

  • Proven ability to independently build deep working knowledge of unfamiliar platforms and systems, with limited documentation or support

  • 5+ years in integration or platform engineering; 2+ years in financial services or insurance

  • Strong hands-on experience with integration middleware/ETL

  • Deep understanding of integration patterns API, batch, event-driven, file-based and the judgment to choose between them based on the business and regulatory context

  • Strong documentation and testing discipline for regulated environments

  • Working knowledge of GDPR, data classification, and access control requirements

  • Experience in agile, cross-functional delivery environments

Ideally, you also have:

  • Experience with actuarial platforms (Prophet)

  • Familiarity with GRC tools (SAI360, GRC Toolbox, Partner Screening)

You will thrive here if you:

  • Treat compliance and security as design principles, not constraints

  • Think end-to-end across complex data chains and domain boundaries

  • Earn trust with actuaries, auditors, and finance controllers through precision and curiosity

  • Stay current with a fast-moving regulatory and technology landscape

What you can expect from us:

We want to provide you with everything you need to succeed. To do that, we offer a bunch of benefits (depending on the type of contract chosen).

  • Paid time off: Enjoy 30 paid days off per year.

  • Flexible benefits budget: Additional budget that can be used for both personal or professional development.

  • Comprehensive medical coverage: Full private healthcare for you and your family, including rehabilitation, psychotherapy, and dental services.
