Senior Enterprise Application Integration Engineer – HR Systems
Warsaw Hub @ Helvetia Baloise GroupGlobalnie
About our Team:
Our team supports clients in the “Human Resources” division, including Group HR, country HR departments, and pension funds. Together with an external partner, we are technically responsible for the group wide HR system, SAP SuccessFactors. We ensure the platform operates smoothly across all modules and coordinate new requirements. We are also technically responsible for all interfaces to and from the HR system.
We're looking for a hands on integration engineer to own our HR systems integration landscape, centred on SAP SuccessFactors. You'll be a trusted technical partner to HR, rationalising existing integrations, driving automation, and ensuring our HR data flows are reliable, compliant and well documented.
Role Purpose:
You'll design, build, and maintain integrations between SuccessFactors and downstream systems: payroll, identity & access management, finance and satellite HR tools, while owning employee master data quality and driving GDPR compliant integration design across the landscape.
Several integrations and configuration areas in this landscape currently rely on knowledge held by a small number of people. Part of the role is building durable, accessible expertise and documentation so that this knowledge does not stay concentrated in one or two individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and own the integration architecture between SuccessFactors and downstream systems, including data quality, master data ownership decisions, and reconciliation across systems with different employee data models
Own SuccessFactors configuration decisions, release management and testing, including tradeoffs between standard configuration and custom integration logic
Ensure all HR data integrations comply with GDPR and regional data protection requirements
Work directly with HR stakeholders, architects and vendors to translate requirements into solutions
Independently build and consolidate platform expertise in areas where knowledge is currently concentrated in a small number of individuals, and turn it into documentation the wider team can rely on
Operate within agile delivery: sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimates, and feasibility
Your Skills:
Proven ability to independently build deep working knowledge of complex platforms and data models, including in areas with limited documentation or support
5+ years hands on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central and satellite HR tools
Proven experience building cloud integrations with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or comparable middleware
Solid understanding of HR data concepts: org structures, employee lifecycle, master data hierarchies, and the judgment to make master data ownership decisions when systems disagree
Strong testing and QA discipline for integration solutions
Working knowledge of GDPR as applied to HR data flows
Experience in agile, cross functional delivery environments
Ideally, you also have:
SAP SuccessFactors certification (Employee Central or Integration) — useful, but not a substitute for the ability to build this knowledge independently on the job
Experience with additional SF modules: Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Compensation — useful, but not a substitute for the ability to build this knowledge independently on the job
Familiarity with IAM/IDP provisioning and joiner/mover/leaver flows
You will thrive here if you:
Dig into root causes and design for real world edge cases
Take data privacy seriously as a design principle, not an afterthought
Communicate technical constraints clearly to non technical HR stakeholders
Are comfortable consolidating and documenting knowledge that currently exists only in a few people's heads, rather than waiting for a complete playbook
Adapt quickly as the HR technology and compliance landscape evolves

We want to provide you with everything you need to succeed. To do that, we offer a bunch of benefits (depending on the type of contract chosen).
