Senior Engineer (Node.js) – AdTech / RTB

BRAVER IT is looking for a Senior Engineer to join a Finnish AdTech company focused on building a programmatic advertising platform. You will work within a small, senior engineering team on backend systems where performance and low latency are critical to business success.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale high-throughput, low-latency backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and maintain solutions for systems processing large volumes of concurrent requests.
• Optimize system latency, throughput, reliability, and resource usage.
• Investigate bottlenecks and production issues to drive continuous performance improvements.
• Take ownership of technical and architectural decisions within the team.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven track record in building high-throughput, low-latency backend systems.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and take ownership of complex solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
