Senior Engineer (Node.js) – AdTech / RTB

BRAVER IT is looking for a Senior Engineer to join a Finnish AdTech company focused on building a programmatic advertising platform. You will work within a small, senior engineering team on backend systems where every millisecond counts, directly influencing the architecture and technical direction of high-throughput, low-latency services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale high-throughput, low-latency backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Work on real-time bidding flows, integrations, and performance-critical backend components.
• Design robust solutions for systems processing large volumes of concurrent requests.
• Optimize system latency, throughput, reliability, and resource usage.
• Investigate bottlenecks and production issues to drive continuous performance improvements.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building high-throughput, low-latency backend systems.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and take full ownership of solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
