Senior Embedded Linux / Yocto Engineer (Contractor)

We are currently seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of complex, high-quality embedded products in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for Embedded Linux platforms.
• Build, customize, and maintain Linux distributions using Yocto and BitBake.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across application, operating system, and hardware layers.
• Design, develop, and maintain software components using C++.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical architecture and design discussions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in Embedded Linux development.
• Proven expertise in building and customizing Linux distributions with Yocto.
• Strong commercial experience with C++ programming.
• Advanced skills in debugging and resolving complex system-level issues.
• Ability to work independently across software, OS, and hardware layers with good English communication skills.
