Senior Director, Medical Monitor (Respiratory indications)

Generate:Biomedicines is a clinical-stage company pioneering the AI revolution in drug design. We are seeking an experienced physician to serve as the Senior Director, Medical Monitor, providing medical oversight for our late-stage respiratory programs, specifically focusing on asthma and COPD.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day medical oversight for late-stage clinical trials, ensuring patient safety, data integrity, and protocol compliance.
• Serve as the primary medical contact for clinical sites, investigators, and CROs while managing study queries and protocol deviations.
• Contribute as a key reviewer and author for core clinical and regulatory documents, including study protocols, IB, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics, and Pharmacovigilance.
• Support study oversight committees and interpret clinical trial data to contribute to regulatory submissions and publications.

Requirements

• MD degree is required; board certification in Pulmonology or Allergy & Immunology is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of clinical development experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive expertise in respiratory clinical trial design, oversight, and execution.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
