Senior DevOps Engineer with Security Operations Focus

Svitla Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a focus on Security Operations to join a global team supporting diverse SaaS environments. You will play a critical role in hardening and stabilizing server infrastructure, ensuring the health of monitoring agents, and integrating security gates into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Remediate endpoint and monitoring agent health, specifically focusing on Microsoft Defender and Azure Monitor Agent deployments.
• Assess and improve end-to-end OS and system patching processes to ensure consistency and auditability.
• Execute patching across server fleets using Azure Update Manager while coordinating with application owners.
• Support the implementation of SonarCloud and integrate static code analysis into Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Automate system administration tasks and maintain infrastructure for scalable, reliable cloud services.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Linux in Azure, including patching and OS-level troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Servers and Azure Monitor Agent.
• Proven success in managing CI/CD for Azure-based SaaS applications, including SAST tooling.
• Strong proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Bash and experience with Terraform.
• In-depth understanding of security principles and web server configuration.
