Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, Contract)

INFUSE is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stack. In this role, you will bridge cloud engineering and software development, leading our transition to EKS and GitHub Actions while enforcing zero-trust security baselines across our product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, including migrating workloads to EKS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions and modernize legacy Jenkins processes.
• Enforce rigorous security standards, including Cloudflare WAF integration, least-privilege IAM, and automated secrets management.
• Manage monitoring, alerting, and logging using Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Sentry, while leading incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Optimize AWS costs through resource rightsizing and proactive infrastructure audits.
• Document undocumented systems and bring them under Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing AWS at scale.
• Expertise in Terraform and Ansible, with a strong background in designing production workflows via GitHub Actions.
• Proven production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong understanding of platform hardening, zero-trust security patterns, and system patching.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, Bash, and Python scripting.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
