Senior DevOps Engineer

Kyivstar is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the infrastructure supporting our Big Data products. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining robust cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring high availability and performance for our data-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage scalable infrastructure solutions specifically tailored for Big Data and AI-driven products.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery cycles.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve observability across all environments.
• Automate routine operational tasks and software deployments to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Support staging and production environments while managing release cycles and assisting internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps engineering role.
• Strong practical experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with a strong preference for Terraform.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana, as well as relational and non-relational databases.
