Senior Developer – High Throughput APIs

emagine Polska is seeking experienced Senior Developers to join our engineering team, focusing on the evolution of our core financial processing platform. You will work on high-throughput backend services and APIs, ensuring top-tier performance, scalability, and security within the online betting and payments sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable backend services and B2B APIs capable of handling massive transaction volumes.
• Take full ownership of complex technical problems, from initial system design through to production deployment.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks at the application, database, and system levels.
• Contribute to the modernization of existing PHP and Java modules by migrating key components to Go.
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to maintain seamless integrations with payment providers.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of senior-level backend development experience, specifically with high-volume transactional systems.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and Java/Spring Boot, with a commitment to working with Go.
• Proven professional experience within the online betting industry.
• Full bilingual proficiency in both English and French for technical documentation and communication.
• Advanced expertise in SQL, relational database design, and query optimization.
