Senior Design Engineer - Faith & Performance

Diversified is a global leader in audiovisual and media technology, designing and building innovative spaces for clients across corporate, entertainment, and government sectors. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our Faith & Performance team and lead complex projects from concept to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements by developing specifications, designs, budgets, and timelines while managing client expectations.
• Conceptualize system designs and provide technical expertise for live performance solutions, including concert audio, cinematic multi-cam, and theatrical lighting.
• Develop project estimates, Bills of Materials, and bid responses in partnership with sales and proposal teams.
• Generate functional system descriptions, block wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and custom cabling assemblies.
• Mentor other design engineers, approve drawing packages, and supervise project team tasks to completion.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional live audio or video production experience in a relevant field.
• Mastery of production system technologies with specialization in concert audio, broadcast video, or stage lighting.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP routing, QoS, VLANs, and Wireless Access Points.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 and quoting tools such as D-Tools or Jetbuilt.
• Demonstrable understanding of the construction process, installation, and architectural specifications.
