Senior Data/PowerBI Engineer

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures, recognized for deploying cutting-edge AI solutions at enterprise scale. We are seeking a Senior Data/Power BI Engineer to join our team of industry veterans, where you will solve complex architectural challenges and unlock self-service analytics for Fortune 500 leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and tune high-scale models to ensure sub-second performance for concurrent power users using Direct Lake optimization.
• Lead the migration of complex legacy reports to Power BI by deconstructing and rebuilding business logic into modern assets.
• Develop and deploy production-ready DAX measures and calculated columns to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Implement robust Row-Level Security and manage deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as a technical bridge between business stakeholders, UX designers, and Databricks engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Data Analytics or BI, with a minimum of 3 years focused on intensive Power BI development.
• Hands-on experience working within the Databricks environment.
• Deep knowledge of Star Schema implementation and Medallion data architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex, performance-tuned DAX, including iterators and time intelligence.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and manage stakeholder expectations.
