Senior Databricks Data Engineer

Optiveum is seeking a Senior Databricks Data Engineer to join a dynamic team of over 400 professionals within the Insights & Data division. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures, leveraging modern cloud technologies to process complex datasets while adhering to best practices across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data processing solutions using Databricks for large-scale and diverse datasets.
• Build and enhance efficient data pipelines utilizing Python and various cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define and maintain high standards in data engineering.
• Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability within cloud-based environments.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in data engineering with hands-on Databricks expertise.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python for automation and complex data transformation tasks.
• Proven experience working with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
