Senior Database Engineer

Lumicode Sp. z o.o., part of the Pentacomp Group, is a provider of IT solutions for large enterprises and the public sector. We are currently seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join a long-term project focused on the modernization and maintenance of a business-critical legacy system for a client in the commercial real estate and asset management industry.

Key responsibilities

• Support the technical upgrade and replatforming of the client's Coda environment.
• Analyze the existing technology landscape, including Coda v12, Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2012, and Apache Tomcat v7.
• Perform SQL Server migration and upgrade activities while validating application functionality.
• Verify SSRS reports and custom database objects.
• Troubleshoot issues related to databases, applications, and Windows servers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including migrations and upgrades.
• Solid knowledge of database performance tuning, stored procedures, views, and SQL Server Agent.
• Experience working with Windows Server 2012 or newer and maintaining legacy Windows-based applications.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and backup solutions.
• Good understanding of certificates, connectivity, firewalls, and service accounts.
