Senior Database Developer (Oracle / PL/SQL / ETL) (f/m/x)

B2Bnetwork is seeking a Senior Database Developer to join a dynamic project within the energy sector. This role focuses on the development, optimization, and maintenance of Oracle databases and complex ETL/ELT processes in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing Oracle databases and ETL/ELT processes to meet business requirements.
• Optimizing database performance, SQL queries, and PL/SQL code to ensure high efficiency.
• Managing source code and database changes using Git and Flyway.
• Participating in CI/CD processes, code reviews, integration testing, and UAT.
• Diagnosing and resolving database incidents while maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle databases and strong proficiency in PL/SQL.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow.
• Strong background in code reviews, refactoring, and database performance optimization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and database migration tools such as Flyway or Liquibase.
• Professional experience within the energy sector and familiarity with AI-powered development tools.
