Senior Data/Analytics Engineer

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures, recognized for deploying advanced AI solutions at enterprise scale. We are seeking a Senior Data/Analytics Engineer to join our team of industry veterans, where you will solve complex architectural challenges and bridge the gap between business needs and technical data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Designing semantic views, named metrics, and verified queries to support self-service analytics.
• Developing graph schemas and performing entity resolution against alias maps.
• Ensuring SQL correctness and maintaining high standards for code-based data discipline.
• Designing row access policies in collaboration with the DevOps team to ensure secure data governance.

Requirements

• Expertise in dimensional modeling, including star schemas and slowly changing dimensions.
• Proficiency in semantic modeling, including Snowflake views and Cortex Analyst models.
• Strong experience with graph data modeling, node and edge design, and ontology work.
• Advanced skills in dbt Core, SQL, and Python for complex data transformation tasks.
• Proven ability to handle entity resolution and alias mapping at an enterprise scale.
