Senior Data Scientist

The Codest is an international software company dedicated to delivering high-quality IT solutions for global clients. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team and work on a project for one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Europe, focusing on advanced machine learning models for advertising and ranking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, refine, and evaluate ML scoring models such as CTR, CVR, and RoAS for core bidding logic.
• Architect model strategies that integrate user, product, and placement signals for high-throughput, low-latency environments.
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into measurable technical roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for Data Science workstreams to ensure alignment with production standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing and training Deep Learning models for production use cases.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow, alongside strong practical knowledge of Pandas and NumPy.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with public cloud infrastructure, specifically Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
• Strong engineering foundations, including writing production-level, testable Python code and familiarity with CI/CD.
• Ability to mentor other Data Scientists and raise modeling standards across the team.
• Relevant academic degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
