Senior Data Scientist

Billennium is a technology partner with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a project for a global pharmaceutical client, focusing on the development of advanced AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions to solve complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and experimentation for applied AI and machine learning use cases.
• Develop structured data extraction capabilities using Large Language Models.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Transform successful prototypes into reusable Python-based components and services.
• Collaborate with domain experts to design evaluation datasets and success criteria.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering LLM- or ML-powered features into production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, structured LLM outputs, and information extraction workflows.
• Expertise in evaluation methodologies, experimentation, and error analysis.
• Ability to design and develop reusable software components for large-scale systems.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
