Senior Data Platform Engineer with CDC

Intellias is a global technology company creating solutions that power businesses worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team in building a next-generation data platform that standardizes how data is shared, governed, and reused across analytics and AI/ML ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable data platform used by engineering teams across the organization.
• Develop data publishing and consumption services utilizing PostgreSQL, Debezium CDC, Kafka, and DataHub.
• Create GitOps-driven workflows for data contracts, schema governance, and lifecycle management.
• Build internal tools and automation to improve developer experience and enable self-service data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement high-level data standards and platform reliability.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience in backend, platform, or data-intensive environments.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalability challenges.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, CDC, Debezium, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments.
• Proven ability to work through ambiguity, make architectural decisions, and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively within a global team.
