Senior Data Platform Engineer with Azure Databricks

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team and work on high-impact solutions for a major energy and utility client, focusing on modern data platform technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform solutions using Azure technologies.
• Take ownership of technical architecture, implementation, and production deployments.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data products.
• Optimize streaming and batch data processing pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and the Azure data ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering workloads.
• Solid understanding of DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Experience working in consulting environments with high autonomy and ownership.
