Senior Data Governance Advisor

Cyclad is seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Advisor to join our team and support top international IT companies in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and platform implementation, shaping effective governance approaches within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into workable governance approaches using Microsoft Purview or Microsoft Fabric.
• Support the adoption of data products by helping stewards and consumers discover, publish, and rely on data effectively.
• Design and facilitate workshops to align stakeholders and ensure clear communication across both business and technical teams.
• Produce and maintain essential reference artifacts, including runbooks, governance frameworks, and feature-watch documentation.
• Monitor adoption metrics to identify gaps early and provide proactive support to ensure the success of governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in data governance concepts and the lifecycle of data products.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Purview or Microsoft Fabric with the ability to turn business needs into practical implementation roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex governance concepts to non-specialist audiences.
• Experience in driving organizational adoption and facilitating workshops to foster a data-driven culture.
• Very good command of the English language to effectively collaborate in an international environment.
