Senior Data Engineer with MS Fabric (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a dynamic, client-facing role. You will lead projects and design modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse, contributing to the development of scalable enterprise data pipelines and transformation frameworks in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Developing and maintaining complex data pipelines, notebooks, dataflows, and transformation processes.
• Supporting the creation of scalable lakehouse, warehousing, and analytics solutions for diverse clients.
• Implementing engineering best practices, including source control, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Ensuring secure engineering approaches and supporting data governance, GDPR, and data classification requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python development.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and lakehouse architectures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with customer stakeholders.
• Fluent command of both Polish and English.
