Senior Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering solutions in cloud environments
• Building and optimizing data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Working with large data volumes with a strong focus on Data Quality
• Implementing and maintaining solutions based on PySpark and SQL
• Creating and maintaining unit and integration tests
• Automating CI/CD processes
• Collaborating with technical and business teams on the client side
• Acting as a replacement for a key client-side team member (long-term sick leave)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Very good knowledge of Data Engineering at a senior level
• Experience working with: AWS CDK, AWS Lambda, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform, Google App Engine, BigQuery, Dataproc, Airflow and Terraform
• Very good knowledge of: PySpark and SQL
• Experience in: Data Quality, Unit Testing and Integration Testing
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Ability to work in distributed teams and international projects
• English language proficiency: minimum B2+ (daily project communication)
