Senior Data Engineer

The Codest is an international software company dedicated to delivering high-quality IT solutions through a collaborative, people-first approach. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and support one of Europe's largest e-commerce platforms in scaling their data-driven services and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and automate tools within the Data Platform ecosystem.
• Support product, technical, and analytical teams in building advanced data-driven solutions.
• Assist in resolving technical issues reported through internal communication channels.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and delivery performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with JVM languages like Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Composer, and Dataproc.
• Deep expertise in SQL and PySpark.
• Commitment to software development best practices including TDD, Clean Code, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker, Linux/Unix environments, and version control systems.
• English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher.
