Senior Data Engineer

The Codest is an international software company dedicated to delivering high-quality IT solutions and scaling technical teams for global clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and support one of Europe's largest e-commerce platforms in optimizing their data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and automating advanced tools within the Data Platform ecosystem.
• Collaborating with product, technical, and analytical teams to build robust data-driven services.
• Providing technical support and resolving complex issues reported by internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of data architecture and engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, PySpark, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices including TDD, Clean Code, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker, Linux/Unix environments, and version control systems.
• Strong communication skills with a minimum B2+ level of English.
